The ServiceNow Architect will provide their solutioning expertise across multiple projects. The Architect lays the foundation of what should be built, sets the standards for how code is developed, how quality is enforced, and continuously strives to stay up to date on the latest platform decisions.  The ideal candidate should demonstrate a passion for learning and staying current with any new ServiceNow functionality. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a ServiceNow architect across multiple projects for the Delivery and Product teams by:
    • Providing ServiceNow technical solutioning support to ensure the solutions:
      • Follow ServiceNow best practices
      • Are fit for future growth
      • Designed with both the end user and maintenance team in mind
      • Enable mission critical processes
      • Are secure and designed with a great user experience in mind
    • Conducting detailed code reviews
    • Serving as a subject matter expert across the entire ServiceNow platform
    • Promoting ServiceNow best practices and ensuring code quality
    • Ideate innovative solutions to challenging customer problems
  • Develop and maintain technical content for our ServiceNow training program for new hires
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to:
    • Engage in client conversations to discuss potential solutions; provide technical direction and solutions, as well as answering all technology-related questions
    • Contribute to technical proposals and associated documentation by providing write ups of our technical approach
    • Provide input into Level of Efforts (LOEs) for potential new projects; estimate the time and resources required to deliver requested features
  • Conduct in-depth technical interviews for potential ServiceNow new hires
  • Manage our deployment registration status on the ServiceNow Partner portal to ensure everything is current
  • Establish credibility with clients and team members around knowledge and expertise of ServiceNow
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and stakeholders both on existing and potential projects
  • Recommend and implement new technology and process improvements to prepare company for significant growth and improve cost efficiency
  • Mentor and grow junior level ServiceNow resources

QUALIFICATIONS

  • US citizenship
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience in the consulting field; 10+ years overall professional experience
  • Experience being a Technical lead in 6+ ServiceNow customer engagements (mostly large and complex)
  • Experience with partnering with program directors and designing technical program level activities and implementing complex technical solutions  
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to large audiences
  • Current ServiceNow certifications:
    • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    • ITSM Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM) preferred
    • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
    • Certifications in other ServiceNow disciplines (CIS in CSM, HR, SecOps, ITOM, etc.)
  • ITIL v3.0 or v4.0 Foundations
  • Bachelors degree in relevant field
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and high growth environment
  • Has demonstrated long tenure at with companies
