Automation Specialist Technician Carlsbad CA
Raso Solutions is seeking an Automation Specialist for their client, a top ranked, San Diego based, “best places to work” organization focused on quality and eco friendly products.
The ideal candidate is someone who loves to tinker with equipment, has a passion for troubleshooting and repairing, and is familiar with an array of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
What You’ll Do:
Assemble/test mechanical devices and systems according to blueprints and other documentation
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing and packaging equipment; improve system performance
Maintain/organize spare parts inventory; order OEM parts and other machine components
Train production operators and employees
Coordinate all calibration services; maintain records and schedules
Support the Automation team in various jobs and projects
Qualifications:
Experienced and knowledgeable in repairing equipment – motors, pumps, mixers, special pneumatic or solenoid valves, flowmeters, level probes, temp probes, and other mechanical devices
Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles of motors
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and written reference material.
Ability to diagnose/resolve problems; skilled in using hand and power tools
